Great Location for a Road Trip 🚗

I had a wonderful stay at this place during a road trip. The hotel is in an amazing location, really close to restaurants, a supermarket, the Douro Valley, and the mountains. It was super convenient to have everything nearby.

The hotel's location was stunning and good, really close to good cheap restaurants and easy access to the all the Douro Valley, and excellent wineries. It also was up to those mountains.

We had an incredible stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The view from the rooms and the infinity pool was simply stunning, overlooking the breathtaking Douro Valley. The owners, Elisa and Reinaldo, were amazing hosts who took excellent care of us throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even driving us to the train station. We felt warmly welcomed and at home, as if we were staying with family. The cleanliness of the rooms and the housekeeping service were top-notch. The breakfast served here was fresh and delicious every day.

I had a fantastic stay on a road trip. The room I had was good and amazing with a large bathroom and a great million dollar view. This was a unique location just off good cheap restaurants and easy access to the Douro Valley, mountains, and a cliff. The food was appetizing and local.

No complaints whatsoever, I greatly enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back here.

The view from Imaginario D'El Rei - Guest House was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the stunning river and sunrise views every morning was a true pleasure. The property itself was beautifully built into the bottom of a vineyard, creating a unique and picturesque setting. The owners were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They even dropped us off at the train station after check-out. The room was cozy and nicely decorated, with a balcony and a spacious bathroom. Despite some communication difficulties with the housekeeper, the owner spoke perfect English and provided us with helpful recommendations for dinner. I highly recommend this hotel for its amazing views and warm hospitality. I would recommend this hotel.

The location is stunning and magnificent, very close to good cheap restaurants and easy access to the entire Douro Valley. The building is very good, and there are local options for meals available.

The guest house is located on a cliff, providing an amazing view of the Douro valley. You can enjoy the stunning scenery from your room or the swimming pool. It is also close to excellent wineries, perfect for wine enthusiasts. the rooms are comfortable and some even have balconies to fully appreciate the breathtaking surroundings.

The jacuzzi is a bit difficult to access, requiring a small hike and might not be suitable for older guests.

Liked the breathtaking views and relaxing atmosphere during our romantic getaway. The pool and hot tub were fantastic, making for a serene and peaceful vacation. Location was key, with convenient onsite parking and easy access to nearby attractions.

Disliked the lack of a mini refrigerator in the room, as we would have liked to keep some chilled wine and snacks for our romantic stay. the air conditioning had some issues, which made the room quite hot at times.
